Couples Therapy

Man and Woman Walking Dog on Tarmacked Road

We meet, fall in love and live happily ever after.  At least that’s what we would like to have happen.  While there may be some who don’t have any struggles in their relationship, it’s not realistic to say that ‘happily ever after’ is the norm.  Our belief is that if we have two people who want to stay together and are willing to do the work needed, we can develop a healthy and rewarding relationship. Often, it’s adjusting schedules to find time for each other, remembering when we first met, or communicating in a new way that helps a couple get back on track.  People sometimes wait until life feels unbearable before seeking help. However, as the old saying goes, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. We often wonder how many relationships would stay together if the couple would seek some professional care when their strain first begins.  So there’s no need to ask ‘is it too early’ or ‘is it too late’.  Two people with the desire to work things through is all that’s needed.
